My family went to the Farm Day for the second year. Last year we missed the majority of what was going on because we went to late. I was not going to make that same mistake again, so we was there when the doors opened. Another great thing about being there when it opened is that there was no lines for a while.
There was so much to see and do. My son made a leather strip with his initials on it, an apple pie, a caramel apple, a bird feeder, butter, and so much more. We even learned a thing or two about how they washed laundry, weaved baskets, and what their homes looked like.
With so much to do and see we ended up staying almost the entire time. The food was fantastic, we had loads of fun with all the activities, and everyone was so kind. We will be doing this again as a family next year!
